The problem

Round six of revisions. For free.

Your business lives in DMs, a notes app, a spreadsheet you stopped updating and your head. Each gap leaks money.

  • v6Extra revision rounds you never quoted, done at no charge.
  • 19 daysAn invoice nobody followed up on, because nothing reminded you.
  • $?/hYour real hourly rate per client. Most editors have never calculated it.

Features

Built around how editing actually works.

Not a generic freelancer template. Footage, cuts, client review and revision rounds are part of the system from the first click.

V2 · Revision Alert

Revision limits that bill themselves

Set the rounds included in each quote. Editor OS flags the last included round and the moment a client goes over, so extra rounds turn into extra income.

A1 · Hourly rate

Your real hourly rate

Log hours per project and see what you actually earn per hour. Spot the clients who pay $90/h and the ones who pay $18/h.

V1 · Pipeline

Brief to delivered, on one board

Brief, Waiting for Footage, Editing, Client Review, Revisions, Delivered. Drag a card, see every deadline on the calendar.

V1 · Deadlines

Days-left countdown

Every project shows how many days remain and turns red when it's overdue. No more “wait, that was due today?”

V1 · Clients

A CRM for editors

Leads, active and past clients with type, source and default rate. Total billed and project count fill in automatically.

A2 · Money

Invoices, taxes and profit

Auto-numbered invoices, overdue flags with days late, a tax set-aside on every payment, an expense log and a monthly income chart.

Run your numbers

What did your last project really pay?

These are the same formulas Editor OS runs on every project. Move the sliders to match a recent job.

FAQ

Questions editors ask.

Do I need a paid Notion plan?

No. Editor OS works on Notion's free plan, on desktop, web and mobile.

I'm new to Notion. Will I manage?

Yes. The template opens with a step-by-step Quick Start and example projects, so you can see how everything connects before adding your own clients.

Can I change it to fit my workflow?

Completely. Rename stages, add video formats, change the tax percentage or add properties. It's your workspace.

Does it work in my currency?

Amounts are in USD by default. Switch any money field to EUR, GBP or another currency in two clicks.

Does it create PDF invoices?

No. Editor OS tracks invoices, payments and who owes you. Send the actual invoice with your usual tool or bank app and log it here.

Is the tax set-aside tax advice?

No. It's a simple estimate to help you save. Set your own percentage on each invoice (25% if you leave it empty) and check the right number for your country with a local accountant.

Can I get a refund?

If Editor OS doesn't work as described and I can't fix it for you, you get a full refund within 14 days of purchase. Just email me. Read the refund policy.

How do I get the template after paying?

Right after checkout you land on a page with your personal Duplicate link, and you get a receipt by email. One click and Editor OS is in your Notion.
